There is more public kissing in France; but strangers seemed genuinely more helpful and friendly in Spain.
Barcelona is better managed for tourist information. The women of both countries are tall and beautiful, but their clothing in France is more chic - has more "eclat." Stiletto heels dominate the streets of Paris.

We ate less in Barcelona; but Frencg bread, beer,wine, fish and cheese is a powerful lure. After three weeks of endless walking, I - for one - am getting footsore and a little tired of infinite stairways in the Metro (subway).
